Dermal Filler Training
Intraderm Ltd. basic Dermal Filler training courses are designed for those new to the aesthetic industry. We choose to use Restylane by Q-Med for our basic courses. Our basic course looks at:
- The anatomy and physiology of the skin and the intrinsic and extrinsic factors responsible for aging skin.
- An over view of different methods available to rejuvenate the skin.
- A brief review of the many different types of fillers on the market today.
- Hyaluronic acid and its role in the human body.
- Hyaluronic acid and NASHA Technology including the Tissue Tailored Concept.
- Consultation skills - client assessment, expectations, valid consent, precautions and contraindications.
- Pain management.
- Demonstration of injection techniques – linear threading, serial puncture, fanning etc
- Practical hands on training for basic treatments of the glabella, nasolabials, upper lip lines or crow's feet, lip enhancement. Free product provided for this practical session.
- Dealing with adverse effects / complications and professional accountability
- Business advice
We include Q-Med products on the day for you to inject as part of your practical hands-on session. We also offer a one to one follow-up training session with a Q-Med trainer after the course. We highly recommend this further training. There is no further charge for this training but you will need to pay for any product used. Q-Med will send an invoice post training.
All advanced filler training is provided by Q-Med. Following completion of our basic Restylane Dermal Filler course, our delegates become part of the Q-Med “family” and receive invitations for further training and study days provided by Q-Med throughout the year. Currently they are inviting delegates to take part in Advanced Injection Technique study days, Restylane Vital study days and Tear Trough Treatment study days.
